My path into counseling began long before graduate school. For many years, I volunteered in meditation communities and trauma-healing spaces, supporting individuals who were wrestling with spiritual pain, emotional wounds, and the lingering effects of high-control environments. During this time, I was also navigating my own journey of self-healing. The combination of lived experience, service, and personal transformation shaped my belief that healing must honor the whole person – the mind, the body, the heart, and the deeper spiritual self.
These experiences led me to pursue formal training in clinical counseling. I later completed my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Wisconsin-Superior and began practicing in community mental health, working with clients facing complex trauma, severe and persistent mental illness, and long histories of relational and spiritual harm. These encounters strengthened my commitment to providing compassionate, holistic care for those whose wounds include both psychological and spiritual dimensions.
My approach integrates traditional talk therapy with somatic and mindfulness-based practices. Trauma often resides in the body long after the mind has tried to understand it, so I incorporate EMDR, Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE®), Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), breathwork, and body-based awareness to help clients release stored tension and reconnect with felt safety. I also draw from over a decade of meditation and pranayama practice to support emotional regulation, inner quiet, and deeper self-understanding. As a certified psychedelic therapy and integration therapist, I work with clients seeking meaning, grounding, and integration around altered-state experiences.
At the heart of my work is the belief that healing is not merely symptom reduction — it is a reconnection with one’s emotional fluidity, inner truth, and capacity for openness. I support individuals, couples, and families as they move through trauma, anxiety, relational challenges, spiritual transitions, and the grief that often accompanies a loss of faith or identity. My goal is to create a therapeutic space where your story is honored, your body is welcomed, and your heart is allowed to soften and expand at its own pace.
